We have extended the deadline to register for Fall Tournaments to next Tuesday, October 11th. If you have interest please email Coach Bobzien directly and include what tournaments you are available and if there is a weekend that is unavailable. He will take care of the rest. We will communicate details on submitting payment once rosters are confirmed. The tournaments are:

-5280 Fall Classic: 10/29 - 10/30. 5 games over two days. Cost will be approximately $110 assuming a 19 man roster. We will not go above that number.

- Pumpkin Shootout: 11/5. 3 games over one day. Cost will be approximately $65 assuming a 19 man roster. We will not go above that number.

Fruit and Plant Sales:

Orders are due next month on November 10, 2016. Get out there and sell to reduce even eliminate your player fee!

King Soopers Cards:

Please continue to use your King Soopers cards to purchase groceries and gas. This is an easy way to fundraise for your player and the Club. If you haven't purchased your King Soopers Card(s) yet please contact Aimee Frankel at

Fall Team Training/Fall Tourneys/Community Svc/Weight Training

By Gina Warner, Club Secretary 09/28/2016, 12:00pm MDT

Hello Warrior Lacrosse Players and Parents,

Website Registration:  If you have not done so already, please sign up on the new website per Gina's instructions to receive program communications.

Community Service:  One of the goals of our program is to give back to the community. I was approached by a parent in our organization about a program to work with, Extreme Community Makeover. After learning about the organization in Denver I presented the idea to a group of juniors and seniors after weight training last week. With enthusiasm the group resoundingly thought it was a great way to give our time back to the program.

We will take part in a community clean up project on Sunday, October 23rd, from 1 - 5 PM. We will meet at Paco Sanchez Park - 1290 Knox Court, Denver CO, 80204. We need to bring $10 per person to help pay for a dumpster. If you have interest, please RSVP with Ted Caulkins - The organization asked for a head count so please let him know if you will come. What an incredible opportunity to give back, enjoy each other's presence as a team, and gain perspective in life through service.

Fall Tournament RSVP: As discussed at our program info night we will enter teams into tournaments this fall based on interest in each tournament. Details for each tournament is below:

- 5280 Fall Classic: 10/29 - 10/30. 5 games over two days. Cost will be approximately $110 assuming a 19 man roster. We will not go above that number.

- Pumpkin Shootout: 11/5. 3 games over one day. Cost will be approximately $65 assuming a 19 man roster. We will not go above that number.

If you have interest please email me, Coach Bobzien, what weekends are available and if there is a weekend that is unavailable. I'll take care of the rest. The deadline to respond is October 7th so we can organize rosters and allow families to plan weekends accordingly.

Fall Team Training: Fall Training starts tomorrow at David A Lorenz Park, 3:15 - 5:15. We will train as a team and scrimmage at the end. This will be every Wednesday until 11/2. 6 weeks. Based on what field is open, we will take the best one. Starting furthest east (away from the mountains) and working west (towards the mountains).

Weight Training: Weight training is still ongoing after school on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:30 - 3:30. We have been averaging 35 - 45 players each session. Considering how many fall sport athletes we have it is amazing to have so many participating and putting the work in.

Keep making the most of your opportunities.
