The Arapahoe High School athletic fee is set by Littleton Public Schools.

$175 per sport/athlete; $350 maximum per athlete/per year; $700 maximum per family/per year. **

This participation fee is required for all student-athletes.  It will not be charged if the student-athlete does not make a team or if they choose not to participate prior to the first contest, including scrimmages.

The Athletic Fee goes to the District to help offset the cost of operating our sports programs.  Arapahoe booster clubs may have additional fees to help run the individual sports programs.

** These fees do not apply to Boys Lacrosse.  For these fees, please contact the booster club.

All student-athletes must be eligible for competition under the policies established by the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA).  These policies can be found on their website at  Please see the LPS Athletic Code of Conduct Handbook for additional information or contact the Arapahoe High School Athletic Director.

The Arapahoe Athletic Department runs a Weekly Eligibility Report every Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.  This report determines a student-athlete's eligibility to compete the following week (Monday thru Saturday).

In order to become eligible after the Weekly Eligibility Report has been pulled, the student-athlete must bring their failing grade up to a passing grade within their Infinite Campus grade book and bring a report showing the new grade to the Athletic Office before 4:00 p.m. the Friday of the week the report is run.  The Athletic Office must approve the changed grade and sign off on the student's new report.  A copy of this new grade report must be taken by the student-athlete and given to their coach in order to be allowed to participate in competitions the following week.

The following passes are accepted for REGULAR season competitions only:

The Arapahoe High School Physical Form can be obtained from the Athletic home page under the "Forms" tab.  Have the doctor complete the form and return it to the Athletic Department.  You can also upload this form during registration.

If the doctor uses their own form, the form must contain the following information:

  • Student's name
  • The date and year of the physical
  • A statement that clearly states the student is cleared to participate in sports.
  • The doctor's signature

All physicals are valid for 365 days.  It is the responsibility of the student to ensure the Physical Form on file in the Athletic Office is current during their sport's season.

A student-athlete must register online for every sport they will be participating in at Arapahoe High School.  Registration can be found on the Arapahoe home page under the REGISTER tab.

Arapahoe is proud to call themselves "Warriors".  The school fight song is sung at athletic as well as other activities that take place involving Arapahoe High School.

Arapahoe High School has the opportunity to hold up to three signing day ceremonies per school year.

  •  "Signing Day" is an opportunity to recognize Arapahoe Scholar-Athletes that are going to compete in athletics at the college level.
  • All student-athletes that are "invited walk-ons" or those committed to participate for an NCAA/NAIA/ or interscholastic Junior College sport are honored.
  • Only sports recognized by the NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA, and CHSAA are recognized.
  • In order for Arapahoe to honor student-athletes that receive an athletic scholarship for a sport that is offered at Arapahoe High School, the athlete must participate for Arapahoe.
