Welcome to the Tribe!

The 2018-19 Arapahoe Toms season concluded in February after a very successful year together. Following the 7th place finish of the Varsity team’s strong Poms routine at the State competition in December, the dancers traveled to Orlando, FL for UDA Nationals in early February after two months of intensive training. Their Pom routine was powerful, arguably their best performance to date. The Toms’ Jazz dance was beautiful and elegant, launching the team to the Semi Finals with the top 25 teams in the Medium Jazz category. The large audience responded favorably to the Toms’ use of special gloves to paint black warrior stripes on their faces at the end of their emotional performance set to the song, “Warrior.” The unique application of those stripes quickly became a trendsetter for many other teams. The Toms gained so much from observing the other dancers competing at Nationals and especially loved supporting all of the Colorado teams in attendance.

The Arapahoe Varsity Toms loved performing with Khyrstya Gordon several times this season, cheering her on at her Unified basketball games and watching her joyfully dance with the team during halftime.
